Chris Carpenter

Chris majored in Economics and Finance at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. After college, Chris accepted a position with Perry Printing, a division of Journal Communications. He worked for the firm for seven years in sales and management, responsible for regional offices in Boston and Minneapolis. He moved on to The Fisher Group in 1993 as Vice President of Marketing, Sales, and Operations. Under Chris’ direction, the firm made significant changes in their operating practices and market focus. Carpenter then joined Automated Graphic Systems in 1996 as the Chief Operating Officer. Carpenter and his management team increased revenues by 60% over three years, eventually selling the company to Consolidated Graphics, a publicly traded printing conglomerate from Houston, TX. In 2000, Carpenter joined Royle Printing as Chief Operating Officer with a minority stake, dedicating his efforts to enhancing the company's financial condition and strategic direction. In May 2002, Chris turned in his title as COO to become the sole owner and Chief Executive Officer of Royle Printing, purchasing the remaining portion of the company. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his three children, golfing, traveling, and cooking.
